Why not join us as a percussionist in 2009? You'll learn to play samba as it's played in the annual Carnaval of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. You'll learn 'paradinhas' (breaks), arrangements for individual instruments, and how to play a variety of samba styles. Regardless of your musical experience - you'll improve your rhythm, listening skills and have a great time in the process. A typical samba school rehearsal is as much a social event and a party as it is a chance to learn real Brazilian music! The Brisbane Samba School - 2007 Venue Our Brazilian percussion classes are held every Thursday from 7pm - 9.30pm at: The Polish Club10 Marie StreetMilton(behind Park Road) Costs To allow you to try it out, we offer you the first class for free if you didn't enjoy it. After that, the cost per class is only $10, or you can buy 5 vouchers for $40, to be used at any time.
